1330 - Innovation and Ideas Panel Discussion
Moderated by:
Walter Hannemann, Product Manager, Dualog
With a “can do” attitude, bridging business and IT is my passion. I have a clear focus on solving business problems with use of IT – be that due to innovation, crisis, growth or change - better yet if together. With an unparalleled capacity of zooming-in into critical areas while not losing the overview and the overall goal, I can lead and engage to deliver results.
As a person, I am:
- Curious. As a kid, I often got in trouble for always taking stuff apart to see how it worked. I've been the one always asking "Why? Why? Why?" Well, I'm still the one always asking "Why? Why? Why?"
- Empathetic. I understand what people need, sometimes even when they themselves don't or can't find the right words.
- Creative. Not "artsy-creative" like with pencils and paint - but "problem-solver creative", able to combine concepts and ideas to create new approaches and solutions.
- I like people. I get along with people but I am also not afraid to challenge (and clever enough to do so without getting into a fist-fight) - and technology on itself is never the ultimate goal.
- A doer. Constantly refining the balance of "perfection is the enemy of done". And good at doing un-fun work to push a project to completion.
